I ordered both neck and bridge pups for my GrassRoots Les Paul Special Yellow TV. I received the order fast, but after checking what I actually have to do with the guitar to get the pups in it took couple of months to actually get into it. I had DiMarzio Tone Zone humbucker P0ish as bridge pickup and just wanted single coil P0. That's what I replaced first. I was a bit amazed, since everything seemed to work at first try. Damn, I actually know what I'm doing. Amazing! But, compared to neck original picup this was really really silent. I decided to place it as high and near the strings as possible but still the original GP-1G was considerably louder. After playing for a while, I came to conclusion, that the bridge pickup is still better than the Tone Zone, since with my '65 Bassman it actually had much more headroom instead of going to immediate distortion at volume 3. Final solution was to replace the neck pickup as well, since I had ordered that too.[continuing]

It just came, tested it and works good, also verified the output which was 7.5K. Tho, I'm a bit dissapointed on the quality, as everything inside is made out of plastic, but for everything else is okay.

great p0's, sounds good to my ears but the neck pickup wire was as short as it could be, with like 5mm to spare. the shipping was really fast, didn't expect that!

Recieved the pickups correctly. They're wired on a unusual fashion for me, with the ground being a mesh surrounding the hot wire. Its fine but it needs a bit of tinkering when wiring 3 pickups, as the middle needs to be reversed. I haven't installed them yet since i do need to tinker with the guitar itself to fit the pickups. The Bridge pickup reads 7.8k Ohms The Neck pickup reads 7.05k Ohms.

[continuing]I still had to put neck as low as possible and bridge as high as possible to get them sound about on same volume. But now they actually matched like a pair should. I like the sound. Suites my needs great. For the price these are very nice and can compete 5x priced DiMarzio with no need to blush at all. So, these are a keeper :-)
